    Resort figures (accommodation mix, altitudes, km, transfer times by road from the nearest practical airport, UK flight coverage, lift prices) are approximate and compiled for this prototype. Budgets are per person, excluding flights, assume two sharing, convert euros at about £0.86, and add 25% to beds in school holidays.

    Snow-sure figures come from 20 winters of snow data (2006/07 to 2025/26): the share of days each month with at least 50 cm of natural snow around the resort, then topped up for snowmaking. They describe the wider area rather than individual pistes. Sierra Nevada and Bansko use an estimate instead. Holiday dates are for 2026/27. UK windows cover every council's published dates across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland; academies and independent schools can set their own. French spring holidays aren't included yet.
