    Resort figures (accommodation mix, altitudes, km, transfer times by road from the nearest practical airport, UK flight coverage, lift prices) are approximate and compiled for this prototype. Budgets are per person, excluding flights, assume two sharing, convert euros at about £0.86, and add 25% to beds in school holidays.

    Snow-sure figures are an estimate of how often each resort has good cover in that month, modelled from altitude, glacier, regional snowfall and snowmaking, not live data or a measured archive. Holiday dates are for 2026/27. UK windows cover every council's published dates across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland; academies and independent schools can set their own.
